ObamaCore

At first glance, our title on this post may seem to be just a playful, if somewhat cynical, play on words.  It is not.

As we learned from a very comprehensive article posted recently at Breitbart, and summarized here in our last post, Obama and Bill Ayers’ fingerprints are all over Common Core.

“..the very roots of Common Core are in the early ideas generated by Obama and his fellow radical community organizer, Bill Ayers.”

In fact, it is quite obvious now that because they and their comrades foresaw the squealing and shouting that would take place if the Federal government even appeared to be taking over our educational system, they devised a much more subtle and innocent appearing way to do it.  Once the idea came to maturity and the right people were in place, it was launched not by the national government (federalism is dying, you may have noticed) but by a couple of groups that could purport to be state level organizations, the National Governors Association and the Council to Chief State School Officers

That lie floated at first, but we are now quite aware that it was in fact a very duplicitous ploy to offer cover to the people charged with getting Common Core off the ground.
